Improving lives and making a difference.

Improving lives and making a difference.

Because of our founder, Bill Honeycutt’s passion for missions, in 2018, we launched an organization called Centurion Medical Missions with the primary focus on recruiting medical professionals to provide medical clinics in places like the Dominican Republic and Columbia. Recently, God has now given us the opportunity to expand our work through CMM to include meeting urgent needs beyond medical concerns. Specifically, in the country of Dominican Republic we have launched a partnership with local Haitian pastors, that provides opportunities for projects focused on food insecurity, medical clinics, nutrition, youth outreach, discipleship, sports clinics, adult conferences and more. Our DR director, Moreno, will work with you and your team to identify the right dates and the projects to best serve our church partners and align with your areas of interest and experience.

CMM is a sister nonprofit organization with the Missionary Travel Association, Centurion Travel Assistance and Jet ICU.

CMM is passionate about providing opportunities for individuals to use their skills and experience to serve the needs of underserved and impoverished communities. Currently, we work in Cucuta, Columbia and in the Dominican Republic. In Cucuta, Columbia we provide free medical care to Venezuelan refugees who have fled their country and arrive in Bogota with little or no money and no access to medical care. In the Dominican Republic we provide multiple opportunities to get involved, from medical clinics, sports, nutrition, hygiene, water, bible clubs, church partnerships and more. Not only are there great needs within the Dominican Republic, there are also over 700,000 people of Haitian decent who oftentimes find themselves among the most marginalized and underserved. While work in Haiti is currently a challenge due to ongoing civil unrest and “do not travel” advisories by the U.S. State Department, we are excited to also connect you with opportunities to serve this large Haitian population in the DR in partnership with local Haitian churches.

With our medical clinics, not only are physicians able to provide great care, CMM provides child, adult and pre-natal vitamins, a variety of antibiotics, anti-parasitic and anti-inflammatory medicines at every clinic to treat a variety of illnesses. A typical volunteer medical teams treat 850-1000 patients during our 4 day clinics. We strive to bring hope for a  better tomorrow to those less fortunate than ourselves.

Let us know when you would like to join or send a team.

President and Founder

Bill Honeycutt

Mike Honeycutt (Bill’s son) and Bill started JetICU in 2003. In 2011, after observing so many mission teams struggling due to emergencies while on mission trips, Mike approached his dad and shared his desire to help the missionary community serving around the world. After a year of research and planning they formed Missionary Travel Association. Because of Bill’s ongoing passion for missions and to help others truly make a difference, he launched the Centurion Medical Missions in 2018.

Police officer, physical education teacher and pastor are among other jobs he has had. Married with 3 children, Moreno loves people and especially the most needy. “In my country there is a lot of poverty due to lack of opportunity and jobs, the health system is quite complicated and children are very abused and forgotten by the country's authorities. I want to invite you to serve God together with us not only the Dominicans but also the Haitians and Venezuelans who are in this country living a terrible poverty as well. God bless you!!”  Psalm 41: 1
