Yet, this is the very decision many have to make on a daily basis in places like Loma Miranda where CMM is working. Over half of the deaths of children below the age of 1year old in the DR is due to diarrhea, in many cases, due to lack of clean water and basic hygiene. We know that you agree, this is unacceptable. Join us in changing this reality for the 60 families living in the Loma Miranda community. Our first step— provide families with a simple to use, highly effective water filters coupled with training and an ongoing management. You can help provide clean water to one family for just $40.

Our team facilitates medical clinics, nutrition projects, children’s outreach, construction, church partnerships, sports clinics, men’s and women’s conferences and more. Not only are there great needs within the Dominican Republic, there are also over 700,000 people of Haitian decent who oftentimes find themselves among the most marginalized and underserved. While work in Haiti is currently a challenge due to ongoing civil unrest and “do not travel” advisories by the U.S. State Department, we are excited to also connect you with opportunities to serve this large Haitian population in the DR in partnership with local Haitian churches.
